Cassidy Flops the Straight

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action picked up on the turn with roughly 8,000 in the pot in a hand between Paul Cassidy in the big blind, the player in the small blind, and the player on the button.

With the board reading J892, it checked around to the button who bet 6,000. The small blind called and Cassidy raised to 25,000.

The button went into the tank for a couple minutes before eventually arriving at a fold. The small blind then moved all in, putting Cassidy at risk, who had roughly 20,000 behind. Cassidy quickly called.

Paul Cassidy: Q10 All in
Small blind: 95

Cassidy's flopped straight had his opponent drawing dead and the meaningless 8 fell on the river. Cassidy scooped the sizable pot and doubled up.

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Thomas Patzner raised to 1,100 from under the gun. The cutoff three bet to 3,100, the button then decided to four bet to 12,000. Patzner quickly went all in and both opponents folded. " I had the best hand," he exclaimed to his tablemates who seemed to believe him.

A few short moments later, Patzner was seen dragging in a pot with 35 on a board reading K33103. Patzner is hoping to ride this momentum and put some chips into a bag later tonight.

Shively Flops the Nines

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Under the gun raised to 1,500 getting a call from the button, then Anthony Shively raised the stakes from the big blind by shoving all in for around 19,000.

Under the gun folded, but the button found a call and the players showed their cards.

Anthony Shively: A9All in
Button: QQ

The button was looking strong until the dealer brought the 995 flop, giving Shively trip nines.

Only a queen could save the button from loosing a stack, but the 6 6 runout wasn't any good.

Shively scooped the pot and regained some chips to sit at just over starting stack.
