Maksoud Making Moves

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The pot stood at around 6,000 with two players in the hand on the JQK flop.

Claudio Maksoud moved all in from the small blind and got a call from the big blind.

Big Blind: KQAll in
Claudio Maksoud: Q10

The big blind had hit two pair on the flop, but Maksoud had both straight draw and runner-runner flush draw outs.

The 9 turn gave Maksoud the needed straight to catapult him back into being the favorite and the big blind couldn't find a way back on the 2 river to save him from being eliminated.

One player on the table remarked to Maksoud after the hand, "You are gambling too, huh?"

Maksoud joked back with, "Of course, I am watching you and learning."
