Rivera Leads the Flop

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jhojan Rivera limped under the gun, followed by Christopher Frank doing the same and James Chen raised to 88,000 in the cutoff. Rivera made the call but Frank mucked his hand.

When the 762 flop landed on the felt, Rivera took the lead firing 175,000. Chen went deep into the tank as he looked frustrated. After some time, he mucked his hand.

Eight Good for Swartz

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Daniel Swartz opened 50,000 from middle position and John Richards three-bet 166,000 in the small blind. Swartz made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of 1083 and Richards flung a bet across the line.

"I felt like he was going to bet 125,000. Is that 125,000?" Swartz asked the dealer.

It indeed was, and Swartz made the call.

The 8 turn and J river were checked down and Swartz announced 'eight' as he tabled A985. Richards mucked his hand.

Chen Eliminated by Rheem

James Chen

James Chen was seen jamming his last 110,000 on the 952 and Chino Rheem tank-called.

James Chen (US): AJ84 All in
Chino Rheem: QQ65

Both players flopped a flush but Rheem had the best hand with the queen-high flush. The J turn and 4 river were no help for Chen as he left the table.

George Abdallah yelled at Rheem, "I've never seen someone tank so long with the second nuts."

Rheem replied, "Well I had to give him credit, I thought he had it. He just won a bracelet!"

Steve Zolotow
Steve Zolotow

Steve Zolotow opened 60,000 in the hijack and both Jarryd Godena, and Andreas Zampas called in the blinds.

When the Q102 flop hit the felt, Godena check-folded to a bet of 140,000 from Zoltow while Zampas check-called.

The 7 fell on the turn, and Zampas checked once again before Zolotow fired 480,000. Zampas thought about it for about a minute while the table talked about what a legend Zolotow was, being on one of the first ever Poker After Dark episodes.

After some time passed, Zampas mucked his hand. Zolotow let him know it was a good fold tabling A1010 for top set and the nut flush draw.

Parry Scores Big Double in Aces Vs Kings Hand

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Grzegorz Derkowski had made it 205,000 to go when Parry re-raised him to 570,000, which left him around 150,000 behind.

After some inner debate, Derkowski moved all in to cover and Parry quickly called to put himself at risk.

Matthew Parry: AAQ6All in
Grzegorz Derkowski: KK53

Parry was in good shape with his superior pocket pair, and the runout of 73J48 kept it that way to score him the big double.
