The turn came 8♥ and Hoffman checked. Friedman pushed another bet into the middle, eliciting a fold from Ho. Hoffman, meanwhile, responded with a raise, which Friedman called.
Hoffman bet quickly on the 7♣ river and Friedman called just as quickly but mucked after Hoffman showed A♠8♠ for a winner.
