Chen Falls to Broadway
Level 3
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Pieter Aerts opened to 4,500 from the hijack before Pete Chen made it 14,000 from the button. Nick Maimone four-bet to 35,000, folding out Aerts. Chen decided to stay in the mix and called.
Chen called for 15,000 on the A♣J♠8♣ flop before calling off his last 50,000 on the Q♠ turn.
Pete Chen: A♦Q♦
Nick Maimone: K♦10♦
Chen turned two pair, but his opponent improved to Broadway. Chen could not fill up on the 3♣ river and became the latest departure.
