Souki On the Receiving End of Bad Luck

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dimitar Danchev raised to 11,000 and was called by Jeremy Ausmus before Philippe Souki three-bet to 45,000. Danchev then shoved all in for 258,000, which got Ausmus to fold, but Souki snap-called.

Dimitar Danchev: A10 All in
Philippe Souki: KK

Souki had just doubled up and was now a commanding favorite to eliminate a player with his pocket kings. However, the dealer had other ideas for Souki as the runout of 3A88A improved Danchev to a full house.

"I'm so unlucky," joked Souki.
