Nacho Barbero's table broke into laughter as a dumbfounded Barbero gathered his belongings to leave the tournament area.

He and Corey Hochman had been tied with nearly the same hand on the turn, with Barbero drawing the to the low but then a fateful King on the river awarded the entirety of the pot to Hochman.

Barbero was at a shortage for words when he spit out "She's... a good dealer" shortly followed by, "Bro... they play so bad" in his token Argentinian accent which is what had caused the uproar of laughter from the likes of Matt Glanz, Loni Hui, Ben Lamb, and the rest of the table.

All four players checked the 7♠J♠9♠ flop leading to the Q♥ turn Action checked around to the palyer on the button who bet 1,000. Only Kessler made the call.

Both remaining players checked the J♦ river. Kessler tabled Q♣7♣7♦5♦ for sevens full of jacks to take the pot.

The first guest of the Life Outside Poker podcast was soap opera star Farah Galfond, while subsequent guests have included Tony G, Princess Love, On Tilt Nick and Raminder Singh.

The Life Outside Poker podcast is being filmed regularly at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP), kicking off with an interview with poker coach Faraz Jaka.

On the K♦ river, Hui bet 18,000 and Lamb shoved, covering Hui who had about 40,000 behind. Hui opted to fold and Lamb took down a sizable pot without showdown.
