Fish Sees Out Salgado

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action was heads up to the 87K flop, where Darryll Fish led out from the small blind by announcing a pot-sized bet. Hector Salgado answered from the hijack by moving all in, which was snapped off by Fish.

Fish's aces were in the lead, and Salgado could not improve or make a low on the 10 turn and 10 river to end his tournament run.

Samuel Survives Against Chip Leader

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Errol Samuel moved his short stack all in from under the gun and was at risk when chip leader Paul Fehlig called on the button.

Errol held AJ1062 but needed the river of the K9435 runout to spike a wheel and double his stack. Fehlig took a small hit to his mountain of chips, after gaining the lead over the last level.

Farha's Aggression Prevails

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A player limp called in the hijack, as did Ilmari Sukanen in the small blind. Sammy Farha checked his option in the big blind to see a flop.

The flop came 586 and the action checked to the turn.

On the turn was the J and after Sukanen checked, Farha bet out 30,000. The hijack folded, and Sukanen made the call.

The river was the A to complete the board, and after Sukanen checked again, Farha bet out 100,000. After debating the call for over a minute, Sukanen let his hand go to give the pot to Farha.

Price Doubles Through Matsuda

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Robert Price limped from early position, and Tomoki Matsuda potted to 54,000 from middle position. Action folded back to Price who three-bet to 165,000, and Matsuda called.

On the 866 flop, Price jammed for his remaining 99,000 and Matsuda went into the tank before he ultimately tossed in the call.

Price was ahead with his aces and it stayed this way on the 7Q runout as he found a full double at the expense of Matsuda.

Pho Gets Value on River

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

When action folded to Sokchheka Pho in the cutoff he raised to 30,000. Khoa Luong then three-bet on the button to 108,000. Pho made the call to see a flop.

Both players checked the 5K6 flop and the 10 turn.

The river brought the 6 and Pho bet out 150,000. After debating his decision Luong made the call, and was shown A8432 for a flush, which was good enough to take down the pot.

Jawad's Stack Continues to Grow

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With 80,000 chips in the pot and a board showing 1027, Amro Jawad bet the pot from the small blind. Artur Saakyants made the call from middle position, and Michael Mizrachi laid his hand down.

The turn brought the K and Jawad bet the pot, effectively putting Saakyants all in for 160,000. After mulling over his decision, Saakyants found a fold and gave the pot to Jawad.

"Big" O Indeed

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Stanislav Ivanov opened to 20,000 from middle position, Sokchheka Pho called in the cutoff, Artem Bilous called in the small blind, and the big blind came along as well.

On the 843 flop, the action checked to Ivanov who jammed for 86,000. Pho called, Bilous rejammed for 274,000, the big blind folded, and Pho called again.

The board ran out A10. Ivanov won the main pot high with running two pair, and the seven-five of Bilous was good enough for the low. In the side pot, Pho won the high with ace-three and Bilous had the low.

Farha Bombs Away

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Acton was picked up on the turn with 100,000 chips in the pot, on a 3Q95 board. Ilmari Sukanen in the small blind checked to Sammy Farha in the big blind, who bet the pot. The bet was called by Jonathan Samuels under the gun, James Hinton in early position, and Sukanen as well.

When the river came the 5 it was checked to Farha again, who bet out 175,000. All three players elected to lay their hand down, giving the sizeable pot to Farha.
