Diamond Flops a Straight

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action folded around to John Diamond in the cutoff who limped in, with the hijack limping behind and the small blind completing.

The player in the big blind raised to 3,600 and Diamond called, with the hijack and small blind getting out of the way.

The flop came JQ10 and the big blind led out with a bet of 1,600. Diamond moved all in for 13,300 and the big blind went into the tank before eventually arriving at a call.

The turn and river were dealt with the 4 and 4, respectively, and Diamond's flopped straight awarded him the pot and the double up.

Wang with Two pair

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Three-way on a flop of 610Q, the player under the gun bet 2,400 and was called both by Guofeng Wang on the button and by Dinesh Alt in the big blind.

The under-the-gun player fired a second barrel of 4,400 on the 10 turn. Wang called again, but Alt folded after some time.

The 3 completed the board and the player under the gun bet 16,000. Wang quickly called with AQ and scooped the pot as his opponent only had J9. Alt said he had Jx9x as well.
