Volpe Gets There Against Wilson

Paul Volpe opened under the gun and then called when Taylor Wilson three-bet from the big blind.

Wilson stood pat while Volpe drew two and called a bet.

On the second draw, Volpe took two and called another bet.

Volpe drew one on the last draw. Wilson checked, Volpe bet, and Wilson winced as he eventually tossed in calling chips. He got the bad news as Volpe had made 8x5x4x3x2x for #5 to win the pot.

Glaser Gets Barbero to Break

Nacho Barbero opened from the hijack and Benny Glaser defended from the big blind. Glaser drew two while Barbero drew one.

After the first draw Glaser check-called a bet from Barbero and drew another two while Barbero stood pat.

Glaser checked after the second draw, Barbero bet and Glaser raised it to two big bets. Barbero made the call and broke his hand, drawing one while Glaser stood pat.

With no draws remaining both players checked. Barbero had a nine but Glaser tabled 8x6x5x4x2x to take the pot.

Lazar Draws a Four to Take From Moncek

Level 11 : Limits 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Michael Moncek bet on the second draw and both Eric Wasserson and Anthony Lazar called in the blinds.

Wasserson and Lazar drew one while Monceky stood pat. Lazar then bet and only Moncek called.

Lazar showed 7x6x4x3x2x and Moncek mucked. Lazar indicated he drew the four last to make his hand as he took in the pot.

Bryce Yockey raised in the hijack and Daniel James called on the button. "I'm going to make it another raise," Chino Rheem said as he reraised in the big blind. Both opponents called.

"I can't help myself. I'm going to regret it," Rheem said as he tossed a nine into the muck. Yockey drew three and James took two.

Rheem bet and both players called. Rheem again took one, while James and Yockey both drew two. Rheem bet again and only James called.

Rheem stood pat and James drew one. Both players checked and Rheem showed 10x7x6x4x2x. James mucked.

Mercier Gets Zolotow to Fold

Jason Mercier opened from the cutoff and Steve Zolotow defended from the big blind. Both players drew two.

After the first draw Zolotow check-called a bet from Mercier. This time both players drew one.

Zolotow checked again after the second draw, Mercier bet and this time Zolotow opted to fold.

Wells Finds a Triple

Action was picked up on the first draw in three-way three-bet pot between Chino Rheem in the small blind, $1,500 Triple Draw champion Aaron "AJ" Cummings in the hijack, and Robert Wells on the button.

All three players drew one. Rheem checked, Cummings bet, Wells called all-in, and Rheem called.

Everyone took one on the second draw. Rheem check-called a bet from Cummings.

On the final draw, Rheem took one and the others stood pat. The action checked through.

Aaron Cummings: 9x7x5x4x2x

Wells had made an eight to get the full triple while Rheem bricked to award the side pot to Cummings.

Sternheimer Gets Paid by Ahmadian

In a three-way pot, Philip Sternheimer bet from the button on the second draw and Elia Ahmadian called in the big blind, while Motoyoshi Okamura folded.

Ahmadian took one while Sternheimer stood pat. Sternheimer then bet again and Ahmadian tanked for a moment before calling.

"No. 6," Sternheimer said as he turned over 8x6x4x3x2x. Ahmadian mucked.

Brian Rast was recently sent to the rail.

Bruschi, Mercier Team Up to Try to Take Out Eveslage

Chad Eveslage was already all in as Renan Bruschi and Jason Mercier built a side pot on the first draw. Mercier drew three, while Eveslage and Bruschi each took one.

Bruschi then bet, Mercier raised, and Bruschi called. Bruschi and Mercier both stood pat, while Eveslage took one.

Bruschi bet and Mercier just called this time. Bruschi showed 8x6x5x4x2x and Mercier mucked, as did Eveslage who was sent to the rail.

Yuri Dzivielevski was also recently eliminated.
