Saliba, Bruschi Tangle Again

Renan Bruschi bet the first draw and Justin Saliba called.

Both players drew one and Bruschi led out with a bet. Saliba called and they stood pat on the last draw.

Bruschi checked to Saliba who bet most of his chips. Bruschi called, then mucked when Saliba showed 8x6x4x3x2x to virtually double up.

A few hands later, Bruschi raised in the small blind. "Let's go again," Saliba said as he called in the big blind.

Bruschi stood pat while Saliba took two. Both players checked and Bruschi stood pat again. Saliba took one and called a bet from Bruschi.

Bruschi patted again and Saliba took one. Action was checked down and Bruschi won the pot with 8x7x6x5x3x.

Fireworks After First Draw

Danny Wong opened from the button and was called by Jason Mercier in the small blind and Jonathan Cohen in the big blind. Wong and Mercier drew two while Cohen drew three.

After the first draw Mercier bet, Cohen made it two bets, Wong raised it to three bets, Mercier called and Cohen folded. Mercier drew one while Wong stood pat.

Mercier check-called a bet from Wong after the second draw and drew one more while Wong stood pat again.

Both players checked with no draws remaining. Wong tabled 8x7x5x3x2x and Mercier's hand hit the muck.

After the first draw Sternheimer bet and Wong called. This time Sternheimer drew one while Wong drew another two.

Sternheimer bet again after the second draw and was called by Wong. Sternheimer stood pat and after briefly going into the tank Wong drew another two.

Ivey took one while Bruschi and Glaser drew two. Ivey bet, Glaser raised, and Bruschi folded. Ivey called and took one, while Glaser stood pat.

Glaser then bet and Ivey came back with a raise. Glaser tanked for a moment before folding as Ivey took the pot.

A few hands later, Ivey bet the first draw and Justin Saliba called in the big blind. Both players drew one and checked the second draw.

They each drew one again and Saliba led out with a bet. Ivey called and Saliba showed a pair of sevens . Ivey turned over Kx8x7x5x2x to take another pot.

After the first draw Zolotow bet, Mercier raised and Zolow three-bet to commit the rest of his stack. Mercier made the call.

Both players stood pat for the final two draws. Zolotow had en eight-seven with 8x7x5x4x3x but Mercier had eight-six smooth with 8x6x4x3x2x to end Zolotow's deep run in ninth place.
