A player in early position raised to 12,000 and action folded to Chad Stoffel, who was on the button as a short stack with 21,5000.
Stoffel peeked down at his cards, and then announced an all-in bet, resulting in folds from the players in the small and big blinds.
The original raiser called to put Stoffel at risk.
Chad Stoffel: A♠K♦
Opponent: 8♠8♥
The dealer fanned 4♦A♣J♦ on the board, giving Stoffel’s pair of aces the lead.
The 5♥ on the turn and 10♦ on the river provided Stoffel a full double up in addition to collecting the blinds and ante.
