Martirosian and Blom Dueling on the Bubble

Level 15 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Artur Martirosian raised to 100,000 on the button and Viktor Blom defended in the big blind. The flop came 10105, and Blom check-called a bet of 75,000 from Martirosian.

The 2 turn and A river both went check-check, and Blom tabled 103, for trip tens.

A few hands later, Martirosian raised to 110,000 in the hijack, Blom flatted on the button, and Leon Sturm called in the big blind. The flop came K87, and Martirosian check-called a bet of 100,000 from Blom, with Sturm getting out of the way.

On the J turn, Martirosian checked again and Blom bet 480,000. Martirosian then raised to 1,100,000 and Blom tossed his cards into the muck.

Andrew Pacheco
Andrew Pacheco

Andrew Pacheco shoved all in for 330,000 from early position and Martin Kabrhel called from the big blind.

Martin Kabrhel: AK

Pacheco was behind and at risk of being the bubble boy.

The flop of Q27 didn't offer much help but Pacheco did pick up a flush draw on the 6 turn. However, the 10 river was a brick which meant Pacheco was the last player to go home empty-handed.
