Sternheimer Doubles Through Sturm

Level 16 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Leon Sturm raised to 120,000 on the button and Philip Sternheimer called in the big blind.

Sternheimer proceeded to check-call bets from Sturm on every street. First for 90,000 on the J87 flop, then for 305,000 on the 3 turn, and lastly for Sternheimer’s remaining 650,000 on the 4 river.

Sternheimer turned over 109 for a flopped straight, which was best against Sturm’s J8 for two pair for the double up.
