Nakdali Takes From Davies

Level 12 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Sergio Aido raised to 50,000 first-to-act and was called by Philip Sternheimer from directly behind. Yaman Nakdali then squeezed to 200,000 from the small blind and only Sternheimer called.

Sternheimer called a 150,000 bet from Nakdali on the 229 flop and a 250,000 bet from Nakdali on the 7 turn.

Both players checked on the 6 river and Nakdali tabled 1010. Sternheimer couldn’t beat it and mucked — awarding the pot to Nakdali.

Stephen Song opened the cutoff to 60,000 and Yulian Bogdanov three-bet to 210,000 out of the small blind. Song called.

They saw a flop of 685 which Bogdanov checked, Song bet 100,000, and Bogdanov called.

A 7 fell on the turn and again Bogdanov went into check-call mode once Song bet 140,000.

When the 3 completed the board, Bogdanov checked for a third time and Song shoved. Bogdanov had 385,000 chips behind and snap-called.

Song tabled KQ but Bogdanov had turned a straight holding K9.

Sturm Takes it Down on the Turn

Chance Kornuth raised to 60,000 from under the gun and Leon Sturm flatted in the cutoff.

The flop came JK2, and Kornuth check-called a bet of 60,000.

On the 3 turn, Kornuth checked again. Sturm bet 245,000 and Kornuth thought for a moment, before tossing his cards into the muck.

Ponakovs Lays it Down

Aleksejs Ponakovs raised on the button and was called by Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind.

Badziakouski check-called a 40,000 bet from Ponakovs on the J29 flop and then both players checked on the 4 turn.

Badziakouski announced a bet of 150,000 after the 5 landed on the river and Ponakovs quickly folded.

Joey Weissman had already raised from the cutoff and Shannon Shorr shoved for his last 470,000 on the button. Action folded back to Weissman, who called to put Shorr at risk.

Green Goes Into the Tank

Level 13 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Brian Green raised from under the fun to 75,000 and Jonathan Jaffe called from the big blind.

On the 964 flop, Jaffe checked, Green bet 50,000, and Jaffe called.

The turn brought an 8 which Jaffe checked, and Green fired 100,000. Jaffe then announced a raise to 270,000, which sent Green into the tank. After using several time extensions, Green elected to fold.
