Daly Bests Obst With Trips
Level 20
Jason Daly: XxXx/2♥Q♥6♣7♦/Xx
James Obst: XxXx/6♦8♣4♠4♣/Xx
Paul Volpe: XxXx/Q♠8♥ - folded on fourth street
Paul Volpe completed and James Obst and Jason Daly both called.
Daly opened the betting on fourth street and Obst called, while Volpe folded. Daly then bet again on fifth and Obst called.
Obst made a pair of fours on sixth and led out with a bet. Daly then raised and Obst called.
Daly bet on seventh, Obst raised, and Daly called.
"I can't beat a set of queens," Obst said as he showed A♠9♣4♥ for trip fours. His suspicion proved correct, as Daly turned over Q♦Q♣K♥ for trip queens to win the big pot.
