Rice Makes Quads to Double Up

Level 19

Omaha Hi-Lo

A player raised under the gun, and when action folded to the big blind Shawn Rice, he made the call.

The flop came 4J8 and Rice check raised the bet from the small blind. The small blind then put in the three-bet, and Rice made a four-bet all-in, which was called.

Shawn Rice: QJJ9 All in
Under-the-Gun Player: AAQx10x

Rice was in a great spot with his top set of jacks, and when the turn came the J to give Rice quads, and secure the double. The river was the A to give the under-the-gun player a full house, but it was still not enough to beat the quads of Rice.
