Seidensticker Puts Hellmuth to the Test

Pot Limit Omaha

Phil Hellmuth limped from the cutoff, as did Seidensticker in the small blind, and Nathan Gamble in the big blind checked his option.

The flop came 1085 and when it checked to Hellmuth he bet out 40,000. Seidensticker made the call, and Gamble folded.

The turn was the Q and Seidensticker led out, betting the pot for 144,000. Hellmuth immediately looked confused, and after about a minute in the tank said "I have queens up and wheel draw" but despite that, Hellmuth made the fold, to give Seidensticker the pot.

Ying Chu raised in the hijack and both the player on the button and Philip Sternheimer called in the big blind.

The flop rolled out K27 and Sternheimer checked to Chu who bet and got two callers.

Sternheimer lead out on the 9 turn and both Chu and the button called.

On the river 8, Sternheimer checked to Chu who bet and put both the button and Sternheimer at risk, who both called.

Chu's straight was good for the high half, while the button's low was good for the other half and Sternheimer was eliminated from the tournament.

Honesty Johnson limped under the gun when and when it folded to the big blind David Nepom, he raised to 64,000. Johnson made the call to see a flop.

When the flop came QK6 Nepom put Johnson all in for 100,000 and he made the call.

It was Nepom ahead on the flop, but when the board ran out 3 on the turn and 9 on the river, it gave Johnson the nut straight and secure a double up.

Perryman Gets Chopped Up

After losing a massive pot to Phil Hellmuth, Samantha Perryman was down to her final 16,000.

Nathan Gamble raised to 55,000 in first position which saw action fold around to Samantha Perryman on the button who moved all in and Siarhei Chudapal called in the big blind.

The flop rolled out 334 and Chudapal check-called a bet of 45,000 from Gamble.

On the turn 6 Chudapal checked again and Gamble sized up to 155,000 which Chudapal called and both players checked the river 7.

Chudapal held an eight-high straight for high while Gamble held the nut low and they chopped up the pot while Perryman was eliminated from the tournament.

Lambe Takes A Huge One From Hoang

Action was picked up on the river in a massive pot between Kate Hoang on the button and Dylan Lambe in the big blind.

With a board reading 81010A6 Lambe led out for 200,000 on the end and Hoang went into the tank. After some thought she put in the eight green chips to call.

Lambe tabled 104332 for three tens with the nut low and Hoang mucked as Lambe raked in a sizable pot.

At another table, Daniel Lowery was eliminated from the tournament.

The flop came 84Q and Jackson Spivack check-called the bet from Deeb.

The turn was the 7 and Jackson Spivack elected to check-raise the bet from Deeb. After thinking it over, Deeb laid his hand down to give the side pot to Jackson Spivack.
