Javier Zarco moved all in preflop and was snap-called by Yasheel Doddanavar to put him at risk of elimination.
Javier Zarco: A♦10♦
Yasheel Doddanavar: K♠K♣
By the turn 3♣7♥5♦2♦, Zarco had a lot of outs as any ace, four, or diamond would him the pot, and just like that, the river was the 9♦ to give him a flush to secure the double.
"Vamos!" he shouted as he celebrated with his rail as the chips were shipped his way.
Kavin Shah limped from the small blind and Javier Gomez bumped it up to 500,000, which Shah called.
On the flop of A♥9♦2♣, Shah checked, Gomez bet 350,000, and Shah called to see the 5♥ on the turn. Shah checked, Gomez thought for a few seconds before he continued for 1,300,000, but Shah showed no fear and made the call.
When the river fell the 3♣, Shah checked once more to Gomez, who loaded the clip and fired off a huge bet of 3,800,000, sending Shah deep into the tank.
After over three minutes, Shah made the call, but was then shown the bad news when Gomez rolled over J♣4♥ (the Robbie) for a rivered straight.
The table let out a collective gasp and Shah pursed his lips and tossed in his cards while he watched the mega pot get shipped over to Gomez.
Juan Carlos Vecino moved all in from the small blind and short-stacked Huihan Wu called to put himself at risk.
Huihan Wu: K♦Q♦
Juan Carlos Vecino: 10♠7♥
Wu went into this fight in the lead, but the flop of 9♠J♥7♠ gave Vecino the lead with a pair of sevens. The runout of 3♠5♥ failed to help Wu and he was eliminated in 11th place on the final table bubble.
Damien Le Goff raised to 200,000 from the cutoff and Yunkyu Song three-bet jammed from the small blind. Le Goff called off the bet for his effective stack of approximately 2,100,000 and the hand went to a showdown.
Damien Le Goff: A♥K♦
Yunkyu Song: 8♥8♣
This flip quickly fell in the favor of Song as the 8♦J♣3♥ flop gave him a set. The A♣ turn gave Le Goff a pair, but he was in fact drawing dead. The 10♣ river changed nothing and Le Goff was sent to the rail.
After an open by Yasheel Doddanavar to 160,000, Edgard Saliba moved all in and Yasheel Doddanavar snap-called to put him at risk.
Edgard Saliba: A♦Q♦
Yasheel Doddanavar: K♦K♥
"Good luck," Doddanavar wished to Saliba, but the flop of K♠5♠3♥ left him drawing slim and the turn 6♠ left him dead in the water. The board completed with the 10♠ and Saliba exited as the 14th-place finisher.
Juan Carlos Vecino opened to 160,000 from the hijack and action folded to Michael Berk in the big blind who three-bet to 615,000.
The action was then on Huihan Wu in the big blind who sat there for a good while before he announced he was all in, which resulted in a quick fold from Vecino.
"Good luck," Berk said as he quickly made the call to produce a massive pot.
Michael Berk: A♠K♥
Huihan Wu: A♥A♣
Berk looked up at the ceiling and shook his head in disgust at the cooler, and the runout of 8♥5♠5♦K♦4♣ secured the win for Wu.
After the official count, it was discovered that Wu covered Berk by a bare 15,000 to send him to the rail in 16th place.
