Reis Goes Runner-Runner to Bust Finkelberg

Tyler Boyer
Tyler Boyer
Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Andy Finkelberg opened in early position, all in for 335,000. Action folded to the button when Rafael Reis made the call. The blinds folded, and it was Finkelberg at risk.

Andy Finkelberg: 9♦9♣ All in
Rafael Reis: A♦Q♣

Finkelberg was ahead with his pocket nines, and in great shape to double up after the 10♦9♥2♣ flop to give him a set. But when the turn brought the J♣ and the river came with the K♥ it improved Reis to a Broadway straight and eliminated Finkelberg.
