Gittings Hits Trips
Level 13
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Alexander Gittings was in the small blind when the action went raise to 7,000 from the hijack and the cutoff and the button both called. Gittings also made the call and the big blind called. The flop came out 6♦4♠J♦ and the player in the cutoff took lead and placed a bet of 16,000 and only Gittings called.
On the turn 3♣ the cutoff bet again for 40,000 and Gittings called.
The river J♣ brought another check from Gittings, but unfortunately no bet from the cutoff, who mucked once Gittings turned over A♦J♥ for the trip jacks.
