Ausmus Gets Value from Ace-High
Level 26
: 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Viktor Blom opened to 1,200,000 on the button with A♦J♥ and Jeremy Ausmus defended his big blind with 6♦2♦.
Ausmus checked on the flop of 3♦Q♦2♥ and Blom bet 1,200,000. Ausmus called. Ausmus checked again on the 7♣ turn and Blom checked back.
Ausmus then bet on the Q♥ river and Blom called with ace-high before seeing the bad news.
