Action was picked up between two players at showdown with the board reading 7♦5♣K♥10♥J♦ and around 600,000 in the middle. Jacob Hamed was at risk with A♠K♠9♥3♥ for top pair but was no good against Jay Harwood who had K♦Q♠10♠3♦ for two pair to take the pot while Hamed was sent to the rail.
Kevin Kent raised to 30,000 from under the gun and was called by Bradley Ficek from late position, the cutoff player, as well as James Gilbert from the big blind.
The flop came out 9♦3♥6♦ and action checked to Ficek who bet 70,000. Gilbert then re-raised all in for 247,000 from the big blind. Action folded back to Ficek who went deep in the tank. After a few minutes he asked how much more and Gilbert said "177,000." After a few more moments he apologized to the group, said it was very close, and then announced fold.
Thomas Taylor opened 25,000 in the hijack and both Michael Cox and Manuel Fischer came along in the blinds.
The dealer fanned a flop of Q♠J♣10♦ and once checked to, Taylor continued for 40,000. Only Cox made the call.
The 9♠ fell on the turn and Cox checked once again. Taylor fired 80,000, putting Cox to a decision. After enquiring with the dealer how much was in the pot, Cox made the call.
The 5♦ completed the board on the river and Cox checked for a final time. Taylor wasted no time announcing a pot-sized bet, and Cox' cards flung into the muck.
Christopher Frank limped in from under the gun and received calls from a player in the hijack, Ioannis Angelou Konstas on the button and Grant Wang in the small blind while Assani Fisher checked in the big blind.
The flop came A♣J♥8♣ and action checked around to Frank who bet 36,000. The hijack called while the other three players all got out of the way.
Both remaining players checked the 10♣ turn leading to the 5♠ river. Frank fired a pot-sized bet of 144,000 and the player in the hijack opted to fold.
On a board of 9♥5♠Q♠3♥ Marius Enebakk bet 60,000 and then got check-raised to 274,000 by Jacob Thibodeau. Enebakk then moved all in for 350,000 and Thibodeau called.
Marius Enebakk: Q♦9♠3♣2♣
Jacob Thibodeau: Q♥J♦7♥5♥
The K♠ river didn't change anything and Enebakk had doubled up to over 900,000 chips
