Pahuja Cracks Pocket Aces
Level 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Just before the start of the new level, the Hijack raised to 12,000 which got a call from the cutoff but a jam from Mukul Pahuja on the button.
The hijack asked for a count of Pahuja's stack before making the call. The cutoff folded and the players flipped their hands before seeing the flop.
Mukul Pahuja: K♥Q♦
Hijack: A♠A♥
Hijack was ahead and Pahuja was looking for help to save him from elimination.
The Q♠Q♣3♥ flop came in strong for Pahuja and the hijack was now looking to improve.
The 9♦ turn and 7♦ river sealed the double for Pahuja, leaving the hijack to pass over his chips.
