Ankit Ahuja raised to 250,000 from the cutoff. Chong Yu, in the big blind, three-bet to 1,720,000, which made up a considerable portion of his stack with approximately 1,500,000 behind the line.
Ahuja confirmed how much Yu had remaining in his stack before moving all in. Yu thought for some time before folding, conceding over half his stack without seeing a flop.
Gabriel Schroeder moved all in for 590,000 from middle position. Eric Penner made the call from the seat next to him, and after the rest of the table folded, the cards were revealed.

Virgile Turchi raised to 240,000 from the hijack. The button called and Carlos Caldas three-bet jammed for 1,650,000 from the big blind. Turchi moved all in himself and the button folded.

The board ran out 4♠3♥6♥6♣10♠. Caldas couldn't crack kings and was sent to the rail.
Nicholas Funaro raised to 600,000 from early position. Action folded around to James Luo in the big blind who went all in. Funaro called off his remaining 60,000 and the players tabled their hands.

The 4♥3♣8♥ flop had Funaro looking for some help from the deck. Unfortunately for Funaro the dealer spread the 8♦ on the turn and 3♠ on the river eliminating Funaro after an impressive run in Event #54.
Shane Rose raised from the button to 240,000. Harvey Jackson then three-bet out of the small blind to 575,000. Sat in the big blind was Larry Quang, who thought for a few moments before putting in the cold four-bet to 1,320,000. Rose got out of the way but Jackson went deep into the tank, thinking for a few minutes before he reluctantly folded his cards.
There was a raise from the cutoff to 250,000 and a three-bet by Justin Carey from the small blind to 850,000. After some thinking, the cutoff made the call.
Carey continued with a bet for 700,000 on the K♥Q♥4♠ flop and his opponent folded his cards
Action was picked up on a Q♦6♦10♥ flop. Frederic Heller checked from the small blind and Max Neugebauer bet 250,000. Heller made the call.
The turn was the 2♠, Heller once again checked and Neugebauer once again bet. This time for 750,000, Heller made the call.
Action checked through on the 5♦ river card.
Heller tabled 10♣8♦. Second pair was good enough for Heller to win this pot against another big stack at his table.
Jose Chapui moved all in for 1,470,000 from the hijack and was looked up by Shane Rose, in the small blind.
