Weisman Takes From Elezra

Level 1

Limit Hold'em

Eli Elezra raised the button and Dylan Weisman three-bet out of the small blind for Elezra to call.

"Not a good board," Weisman gritted as he check-called bets on the 976 flop and 8 turn. They checked the 4 river and Elezra asked "do you have one pair?" and Weisman nodded, as he revealed the 55.

That one pair was also the bottom end of the straight and enough to win the pot as Elezra mucked 63.

King Enough For Blom

Level 1

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Dylan Weisman raised to 4,500 from the cutoff and was called by Viktor Blom in the big blind.

Both players drew one and then checked down.

"King," said Blom.

"King is good," Weisman replied — prompting Blom to fan out Kx6x5x4x3x as advertised and collect the pot.

Two Barrels Good for Elezra

Level 1

Pot-Limit Omaha

Eli Elezra limped in the small blind and Dylan Weisman raised to 4,500 in the big blind. Elezra called to see a flop.

The flop came J610, prompting Elezra to check to Weisman, who checked behind.

Elezra led out for 7,000 on the K turn and Weisman called.

There would be no cheap showdown after the 7 river as Elezra pushed 30,000 into the middle. Weisman quickly folded to concede the pot.

David Benyamine raised to 4,000 from the cutoff and found one caller in Naoya Kihara in the big blind.

Both players checked on the 852 flop and then Kihara bet 6,000 on the 9 turn. Benyamine called.

The 6 completed the board and Kihara sized up for a 16,000 bet. This time Benyamine let his hand go and Kihara collected the pot.

Lindgren Valuebluffs Correctly to Win Large Pot

Level 1
Erick Lindgren
Erick Lindgren

No-Limit Hold'em

Scott Seiver raised and was called by Iraj Parvizi before Talal Shakerchi bumped it up to 27,500. Only Parvizi called and folded the J104 flop when Shakerchi continued, getting shown the KK.

Shortly after, Parvizi was involved in an even bigger pot when he led the 8536 turn for 30,000 and Erick Lindgren called. Parvizi bet another 45,000 on the 3 river and Lindgren gave it a few seconds of consideration before raising to 180,000 for most of his stack.

Parvizi pondered about the decision for only a few seconds and called, after which Lindgren instantly exclaimed a loud "oh fuck" and showed his 64 for a missed straight draw but also sixes and treys.

Parvizi, however, only had the A5 and ended up second-best to lose a big portion of his stack.

Lindgren apologized for his outburst immediately in the aftermath of the hand.

Seiver raised the next hand but folded when Parvizi pushed all-in.

Dylan Linde opened from under the gun and Daniel Negreanu three-bet in middle position. Matthew Ashton then put in a four-bet on the button with both Linde and Negreanu coming along to see a flop.

All three players checked through the 4K5 flop to the 10 turn at which point Linde led out. Negreanu and Ashton made the call.

Action checked to Ashton following the 7 river. He tossed out a bet and then tabled AK102 after Linde and Negreanu called. Linde turned over AQJ5 while Negreanu held AQ52 to quarter his opponents.
