Linglin Zeng opened to 5,000 on the button and was three-bet to 18,000 by Matthew Wantman. Zeng called.
Zeng called a 10,000 bet from Wantman on the K♦6♠8♠ flop and then both players checked on the 9♠ turn.
The 10♦ completed the board and Wantman checked once more — prompting a hefty 60,000 bet from Zeng.
Wantman eventually thought better of it and laid his hand down.
2022 WSOP Main Event champion Espen Jorstad was all-in for around 28,000 and was up against Young Ko.

Jorstad remained ahead on the J♦9♠3♥ flop but Ko went on to make trips to secure his place in Round 2 as the board brought in the 8♥ turn 8♠ river.

On a board of 10♣3♥6♣9♣ with several thousand already in the middle, Ren Lin bet 25,000 and Ben Tollerene called on the button.
The 3♣ completed the board and Lin checked. Tollerene thought a bit before sticking his remaining 80,000 into the middle.
"Terrible river," Lin said as he laid his hand down.
A large pot was developing on the river between Darren Elias and Ignacio Moron on a 4♣Q♦8♠4♠2♥ run out.
With 18,000 in the middle, Moron check-raised to 60,000 over Elias' bet of 13,500.
Elias went into the tank, using three time time bank cards, before eventually putting in the call. Moron turned over 4♥7♣ to win a sizable pot.
Espen Jorstad had a smidge over 40,000 and opened to 3,200 from the button. Young Ko defended the big blind to the Q♣J♥8♥ flop, which through to the Q♠ turn. Ko led out for 3,000 and was called to have the 7♣ complete the board. Ko then quickly check-folded to a bet of 9,300.
Elsewhere, The UK's Owen Messere defeated Roberto Perez to advance.
Eshaan Bhalla, also known as "Brown Balla" raised on the button to 2,800, and the big blind Blake Bohn made the call.
The flop came Q♣9♠6♣ , Bohn checked, Bhalla bet 4,000, and Bohn made the call to see the turn.
The turn brought the 4♣ , Bohn then again checked to Bhalla, who made it 8,000. Bohn then decided to raise it up to 30,000, and Bhalla made the call after using the majority of the shot clock,
The river K♦ completed the board, and Bohn fired out 55,000. Bhalla uses a time bank, and Bohn says, "I thought we made a pact that we wouldn't use time banks". But after taking his extended time Bhalla did make the call, Bohn says, "You're good" and Bhalla showed K♠10♠ for a rivered pair of kings. Bohn mucked his hand, as Bhalla took in the 183,600 chip pot.
