An early position player shoved all but 1,000 of their 143,000 chip stack and Benjamin Spragg smoved all-in from the cutoff. When it got back to the initial raiser, he made the call.
Early Position: 8♣8♥
Benjamin Spragg: A♣Q♦
Spragg had success in a coinflip not too long ago but couldn't repeat that during this hand as the runout of J♦2♥6♥7♣3♣ kept the snowmen of his opponent in the lead.
Heads-up on a board of 7♠4♠4♦9♣8♦ with approximately 750,000 in the pot, Julian Milliard-Feral checked in the big blind, then went deep into the tank after Carson Richards shoved for 590,000 from the cutoff.
Milliard-Feral struggled to make a decision, but he eventually chose to fold. "Show the bluff," players said to Richards, who flipped over K♥Q♦ for a king-high bluff.
Day 2 of Event #60: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the World Series of Poker was scheduled to offer players what they want the most: a place in the money. So 539 players came back today at noon at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas, hoping for one of these spots. However, late registration was still open for two 60-minute levels. It eventually closed with a total of 1,773 entrants recorded, generating a total prize pool of $4,733,910.
By the end of the night, only 105 players remained in the race for the $676,900 first-place prize and the WSOP gold bracelet. Among the remaining players, Tzur Levy leads the pack with a massive stack of 2,500,000, followed by Jonathan Fhima (2,180,000), Jong Kim (1,600,000), and Noel Rodriguez (1,490,000).
