Acevedo Loses a Flip on the Bubble

Hallay Takes From Li and Peters

Axel Hallay opened to 13,000 from under the gun. After he was called by Yan Li in middle position, he quickly called the clock when the small blind went into the tank. The small blind eventually folded and Tobias Peters defended from the big blind.

All three players checked the 98J flop leading to the 8 turn where Peters checked again. Hallay decided to bet 15,000 and made both Li and Peters fold.

The under-the-gun player opened to 12,000 and Gregory Janin called from the middle position. Roman Hrabec was in the big blind and three-bet to 48,000, and only Janin called.

On the 382 flop, Hrabec bet 13,000, and Janin called.

Both players then checked to showdown on the 10 turn and 8 river. Hrabec tabled AK for ace-high, but Janin had the winner with JJ for a pair of jacks.

They saw a flop of 7910 which was checked through to the 9 turn. Once it checked to Foxen, she bet 30,000 and her opponent folded.

The player in the big blind went deep into the tank, but eventually made the call, being the player at risk for 94,000.
