Kertland Fades the World to Remain Seated

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Yiannis Liperis opened in early position and Jesse Kertland defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of A105 and Kertland checked to Liperis who continued for 500,000. Kertland paused for a moment as he looked at the other tables, and called off his 430,000.

Jesse Kertland: A9 All in
Yiannis Liperis: QJ

Kertland had the lead with a pair of aces, but Liperis flopped a gutshot straight draw as well as a flush draw. The Q gave Liperis some more outs as he made a pair of queens but the 9 river wasn't one of them, sending the double to Kertland.

Nicholas Seward raised to 535,000 and left just a single chip behind worth 5,000. Alexandre Arnold announced a raise and was forced to min-raise from the button, then Kyle Julius shoved from the big blind. Seward then called off his last chip, and Arnold put in the rest of his stack.

Kyle Julius: AK All in
Alexandre Arnold: AK

Seward couldn't be saved as the runout of 6J694 meant his chips were shared equally between Arnold and Julius.

Boi Wont Be Pushed Around By Li

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Pei Li opened from early position and Paolo Boi three-bet to 450,000 from the big blind. Li called.

On the QK2 flop, Boi check-called a bet of 220,000 from Li.

A 3 on the turn was checked through to the 8 river. Boi bet 300,000, and Li raised to 1,300,000. After some time thinking, Boi made the call.

Stoyan madanzhiev

Kyle Julius opened 160,000 under the gun and Stoyan Madanzhiev called off his remaining stack of about 140,000 from the big blind.

Stoyan Madanzhiev: KQ All in
Kyle Julius: A7

Madanzhiev only looked at the queen, and the table commented on the good hand he ended up with.

The J95 flop gave Madanzhiev a gutshot straight draw to go along with his two live cards but the 8 turn and A river improved Julius to a pair of aces as Madanzhiev headed to the payout desk in 25th place.
