The 21 remaining players have all locked up $8,369 after they reached the money early in the day, after Eugene Brockett burst the money bubble. Of the 187 players who returned on Day 2, only 77 of them got paid, all earning a minimum cash of $5,000. The 21 players coming back for Day 3 will compete for the top prize of $222,703.

Big stacks from Day 1 did not fare as well on Day 2, as the top two chip leaders coming into the day Joe Shammas and Chad Eveslage both failed to cash. Some other notables who were eliminated prior to the money bubble bursting include Fox Sports TV personality Nick Wright. Also falling short of the money were bracelet winners Erik Seidel, Yuri Dzivielevski, David “Bakes” Baker, Alex Livingston, Todd Brunson and Ari Engel.

Some big names who made the money but busted prior to the end of Day 2 include former Main Event champion Joe Hachem, broadcaster Norman Chad, and bracelet winners Robert Mizrachi, Benny Glaser, Nathan Gamble, Scott Clements, and Marco Johnson.
