Before Action got to the small blind, Dario Sammartino raised, and was called by Patrice Boudet on the button, and Sean Akhavi in the big blind.

The flop came A♣10♠9♦ and both Kupin and Sammartino checked, before Boudet bet. Kupin folded, and Sammartino made the call.

Both players checked after the 2♥ turn.

The river was the Q♥ and Sammartino made a bet, and Boudet folded giving Sammartino the side pot.

Sammartino tabled K♣J♥4♥3♣ for a Broadway straight. Ahkavi was not able to beat the nut straight of Sammartino and was eliminated in 24th place.
