2024 World Series of Poker
Kenny Hsiung raised to 105,000 from late position. Peggy Winsler made the call on the button, and so did Nicholas Yezzo from the big blind. They went three-ways to a flop of 6♥Q♥4♠. Yezzo checked to Hsiung who bet 150,000. Winsler folded but Yezzo made the call.
The A♣ came on the river and Yezzo again checked to Hsiung, who bet 250,000. Yezzo then went all in, putting Hsiung deep in the tank. Hsiung asked for a count, which was 1,010,000. He counted out his own stack a couple times and tanked for a bit before eventually finding the fold.
With the cards already on their backs, Rick Marting was sweating it with Q♠J♥ against the 10♦10♣ of an opponent. The river brought the J♠ to keep him in the tournament.
Lucas Lew went all in from the hijack for 630,000. Calogero Morreale, sitting in the big blind, took some time to decide before ultimately making the call, leading to a showdown.
Lucas Lew: A♠Q♠
Calogero Morreale: K♦Q♣
The board ran out 8♥J♠5♥2♦5♠, offering no help to Morreale. Lew's hand held, leaving Morreale with only a small portion of his stack and now in need of a double-up.
Action picked up with Michel Molenaar in late position going to a flop with the big blind and Kuan-Yu Lin under the gun. The flop was K♣A♦8♥ and when checked to Molenaar bet 100,000. The big blind folded and Lin made the call.
When the A♥ peeled on the turn Molenaar again bet 100,000 and again was called by Lin.
The 5♦ river went check check and Lin turned over K♠J♠ and Molenaar mucked his hand.
