Shimamoto Gets a Massive Double

Picking up the action on the turn, Branden Shimamoto on the button was involved in a hand with Harrison Ashdown in the big blind.

With the board reading 6♠A♠J♠10♣ Ashdown checked. Shimamoto bet 2,400,000 and then snap called with the effective stack after Ashdown moved all in.

Shimamoto held the nuts and would just need to avoid a board pairing river to get a huge double. The river came 4♥ to keep the flush best, leaving Ashdown with crumbs.
