Michel Leibgorin raised to 300,000 from under the gun and David Funkhouser defended his big blind.

Both players drew a single card, with Funkhouser checking. Leibgorin checked behind and showed a jack. Funkhouser tabled 10x9x8x5x4x to claim the pot.

"I missed a bet there," Funkhouser said. "You would have called with the jack." Leibgorin nodded as he mucked the rest of his hand.

Charles Tucker raised to 250,000 from under the gun and was called by Michel Leibgorin in the big blind.

Leibgorin asked for one card, as did Tucker. Leibgorin checked his hand and quickly counted out a bet of 350,000.

Tucker took a moment before sliding out a raise to 1,000,000. Leibgorin did not take long to muck his hand, with Tucker turning over 8x8x for a pair of eights.

Owais Ahmed opened to 715,000 from the button, committing nearly his entire stack. Michel Leibgorin reshoved and Ahmed called off to put himself at risk, drawing one while Leibgorin stood pat.

Ahmed was drawing dead against Leibgorin's pat-eight and after he drew an inconsequential 9x he made his exit from the tournament area in fourth place while Leibgorin extended his lead over the rest of the field.

David Funkhouser opened to 420,000 from the small blind and Michel Leibgorin defended from the big blind, drawing two while Funkhouser stood pat.

Funkhouser checked after the draw and Leibgorin bet 1,000,000, putting Funkhouser deep into the tank.

"Michel, what are you doing to me? Can't you just put 600,000?" Funkhouser asked his opponent, who did not reply. "1,000,000, that's the bet? So greedy". Funkhouser continued as he weighed his options.

Eventually Funkhouser opted to fold and Leibgorin took down a healthy pot without showdown.
