Epstein Does an "ODB Impression"

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 30,000 ante

Alex Epstein had raised from under the gun and Vladimir Peck called in the small blind. Peck drew one card and Epstein opted to change two.

Peck then led out for 115,000, which Epstein raised to roughly 300,000 chips. Peck snap folded, claiming to have a pair of sevens with a third seven pitched.

Epstein tabled 8x5x4x3x2x for a perfect eight, stating: "I did an ODB impression!"

Eslami Doubles Through Seremet

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 30,000 ante

Ali Eslami opened to 45,000 from the hijack, and Antonio Seremet jammed from the small blind for 360,000 effective and Eslami snap called it off.

Seremet was pat with 10x7x6x5x4x and Eslami drew one to 6x4x3x2x. Luckily for him, he peeled the 8 to make #6 and find the full double.

Chance Kornuth Eliminated in 17th Place ($5,180)

Vladimir Peck opened the cutoff to 50,000 and Chance Kornuth jammed 365,000 from the small blind which Peck called.

Kornuth announced that he would take one and Peck snap patted behind.

Kornuth had outs to improve but he peeled a Qx and was eliminated in 17th place.

David Funkhouser raised to 40,000 under the gun and the short-stacked Robert Wells defended the big blind. Wells then drew two cards and Funkhouser took one.

Wells led all in for his final 200,000 or so chips, and was quickly looked up by Funkhouser.

Wells tabled 8x8x7x4x4x for two pair, and Funkhouser had made a comfortable call with 9x7x6x5x3x for a nine-low to bust Wells.

Johnston Doubles Through Funkhouser

Michael Johnston raised to 40,000 under the gun before David Funkhouser three-bet to 115,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Johnston, who four-bet all in for 240,000.

Funkhouser called and stood pat after Johnston took one card.

Johnston flipped over a 6x to make an eight-low and double up.

ODB Draws Three and Makes a Wheel

Vladimir Peck limped from the small blind and David "ODB" Baker checked his option in the big blind.

Peck announced that he was pat.

"You're gonna pat? Like you aren't taking any cards?" questioned a bamboozled Baker.

"I'm gonna break," declared Baker as he took three cards.

Peck checked from the small blind and Baker cut out a bet of 75,000. Peck shrugged as he called it off.

"Wheel," announced Baker as the entire table erupted in laughter and disbelief at Baker's 7x5x4x3x2x.

Moulder was ahead with his pat jack against a two-card draw. Baker peeled a 3x which gave him plenty of outs. He then flipped over a 7x to make #2 and eliminate Moulder in 20th place.

Owais Ahmed raised to 60,000 in middle position and Patrick Moulder called on the button. Ahmed drew one before Moulder stood pat.

Ahmed then jammed all in, covering Moulder's stack of 150,000. Moulder took some time but eventually let his hand go, claiming to have folded a ten-seven.

"You might be the only one in the tournament to do that," Owais responded.
