Carmi Among the Latest Casualties

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The seat of Eran Carmi was empty and Filippos Stavrakis recalled that he had taken all of the chips of his table neighbour in two big pots. Stavrakis first hit quads and believed that Carmi was claiming to have had a full house. The second clash was even worse when Stavrakis in the big blind flopped a full house with eight-deuce and improved to eights full of deuces on the river while Carmi had deuces full of aces.

Arriving on a flop of 494, Nick Schulman went all in for 20,000 chips. Christopher DelGrande and Shiva Dudani then also got all of their chips in, with Dudani's stack of 124,000 being at risk.

Nick Schulman: A864 All in
Shiva Dudani: JJ99 All in
Christopher DelGrande: A1043

Schulman and DelGrande had both flopped trips, but were drawing near-dead against Dudani's full house. The turn blanked out before the 9 river gave Dudani quads to rake in the pot in style, sending Schulman out.

Miller Chips Up, Lewis Departs

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ryan Miller had just sat down with a fresh stack of 60,000 chips when he three-bet Gabi Livshitz's open of 6,000 to 22,500 from the cutoff. Livshitz called in the hijack and a flop of 492 fell.

Livshitz checked, Miller went all in for 34,500, and Livshitz folded after taking some time.

On another table, Toby Lewis had gone all in on a flop of J42 for his final 5,500 chips. The board ran out KQ and his opponent's A995 remained best with a pair of nines as Lewis headed to the exit.
