On a flop of A65, Elie Nakache check-raised from 100,000 to 460,000 and Manh Nguyen called. On the 6 turn, Nakache check-called for 320,000 and then check-folded the 2 river when facing a bet of 1,000,000.

He then also lost another pot-sized hand against James Carroll and dropped below two million in chips.

Adkins Hits Big River Double Against Bowers

With around 850,000 in the middle to the Q82 flop, Joshua Adkins got his stack in against Jonathan Bowers on the button to create the largest pot of the tournament so far.

Benyamine Gets Tricky Against Boyko

Three players limped in and Yuriy Boyko on the button raised to 220,000. Only David Benyamine called to see a flop of 976. Benyamine checked to Boyko who bet 165,000. The check-raise for another 270,000 on top by Benyamine followed and Boyko folded.

Bowers Sends Off Rawtani

With the board reading A6Q67 and 680,000 in the middle, Nitesh Rawtani checked from middle position and Jonathan Bowers bet 675,000, exactly enough to put Rawtani all in. Rawtani went into the tank.

"I can beat king-jack-ten and ace-jack-ten with the ace of hearts" Rawtani commented as he mulled over the decision. After another minute Rawtani stuck in the call.

Bowers showed QQ93 for a full house to take the pot while Rawtani quickly made his exit from the tournament area.

Eric Liu got his last 355,000 in preflop after Felipe Ramos had potted to 400,000 and they tabled the following cards.

The KK5 flop brought some "ahhhhs" from the other players as Ramos instantly hit quads. Only running aces could come to the rescue for Liu, who found no miracle escape on the J turn and 10 river.

Adkins Leaves Medarov Short

Vasil Medarov opened to 100,000 from middle position, Joshua Adkins three-bet to 350,000 from the hijack and Medarov made the call.

The flop came 982. Medarov checked and Adkins moved all in for 670,000. Medarov made the call with a covering stack to put Adkins at risk.

Double-Ups Galore in Quick Succession

Adam Lamphere doubled through Nitesh Rawtani and Vasil Medarov took a hit after Joshua Adkins doubled through him.

A few moments later, the chips were in the middle again after Michael Zhan had potted preflop and jammed the K95 flop for 330,000 against Niklas Astedt, who called.

Boyko Doubles Through Adkins
