Damron Doubles Up

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jeff Damron found himself in a good position all in with a big pocket pair. According to him, his opponent in early position raised to 2,500 preflop. Damron three-bet from middle position to 7,000 and got called.

The flop came 379 and early position checked. Damron now went all in, opponent called.

Jeff Damron: KKAll in
Early position: QQ

Both players had strong hands before the flop and flopped a flush draw to go with it. But Damron’s pair and draw were much better and his opponent was drawing to just one out. It did not come on the A turn and the 5 river and he scored a double-up.

Davis Ready to be Famous

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Chanda Davis was in a multi-way pot on a flop of A63. She bet 3,000 which got two opponents to fold and one opponent to call.

The turn was the 10. Davis had to fold to the 10,000 chip bet from her opponent to send him the pot but regardless of that hand Davis has more than doubled her stack thus far.

"Chanda Davis from Alabama" she said. "I'm here playing with all the fellas. Ready to be famous!" as the player from Huntsville,AL will look to continue her hot start as the day continues.

Giguere Delivers A Double Knockout

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

All the chips went in three-way before the flop. According to the players, the player under the gun raised and Simon Gugiere in early position three-bet. The player in the small blind went all in for about 35,000 chips. Under the gun had less than that, around 25,000, and called. Giguere also called.

Under the gun: QQAll in
Small blind: 1010All in
Simon Giguere: AA

Giguere was way ahead, and the AKJ flop only solidified his lead. His opponents both hit a gutshot, but held each other’s outs, so only four outs or running clubs could hurt Giguere. The turn and river were the safe 3 and 6 and Giguere was able to eliminate two opponents to chip up.

Schenone Shows Both Blades

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Just Before Break:

Gerald Fulcher was facing a raise to 2,000 from Cathy Schenone and a player between. Fulcher ultimately pushed his remaining 23,000 into the middle and was quickly isolated by Schenone.

Gerald Fulcher: AK
Cathy Schenone: AA

The flop was a sweat for Fulcher as it rolled out[ 5s5dqd] giving him a flush draw, but it wasn't meant to be when the 7 rolled out and the A further improved Schenone to a full house.

Fulcher went on to say Schenone also cracked his kings, making her a force to be reckoned with.
