Both players checked on the Q76 flop and then Martirosian led out for 22,000 on the 2 turn. Von Blanckenburg called.

The 9 completed the board and Martirosian fired 66,000 into the middle. Von Blanckenburg tanked a while but eventually tossed in a call.

Martirosian turned over J1073 and Von Blanckenburg revealed AKQ10 for a winning pair of queens to take down the pot.

Kronwitter Among Early Casualties

Jonas Kronwitter was spotted on his way out of the to the tournament area and Tom-Aksel Bedell raked in the pot. The cards of Kronwitter were already in the muck while Bedell's 10985 had hit the nut straight on the 9639J runout.

In the meanwhile, several other players entered the fray including Tommy Le, David Williams and Lou Garza.

Eljach checked a final time on the J river and Ivey put 100,000 into the middle. Eljach burned up a time extension contemplating his decision before laying his hand down and Ivey dragged the pot.

Boatman Exits in First Hand

Barny Boatman had to suffer through 90 minutes of football earlier today before England scored two goals in added time but the Brit was ousted in the first hand on Day 2.

Boatman got it in with the K10104 and was looked up by Greg Levine with the AQQ7.

The board ran out K7655 and Levine rivered a flush to send the PokerStars ambassador to the rail.

Day 2 of the $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha Recommences at 1 PM

At 1 p.m. local time, four-card lovers will once more showcase their talents in the Horseshoe Event Center when Day 2 of Event #73: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha kicks off at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The 151 survivors out of a 365-entry-strong field thus far will all be chasing the coveted gold bracelet that is up for grabs at the 2024 World Series of Poker, and late registration will be open for another two hour-long levels and the following break.

Leading the way so far is Conrad De Armas with 1,250,000 but Eric Garma follows right thereafter with 1,247,000. There is another gap after that to third-placed Connor Drinan, who will return with a stack of 970,000. Also in the overnight top ten are the likes of Fernando "JNandez" Habegger (933,000), David Eldridge (831,000), and Aaron Katz (751,000).

Other notable big stacks include $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship tenth place finisher Sonny Franco (722,000), Michael Duek (713,000), Isaac Haxton (688,000), Eric Wasserson (685,000), Bryce Yockey (681,000), and Sean Winter (605,000) to name just a few in a field filled with big names of the international poker scene.

Whether or not the tournament will surpass the 449 entries of last year's edition remains to be seen. However, it is expected that many players will give this another shot during the extended late registration and reentry period until approximately 3.15 p.m. local time.

The action will resume with Level 11, featuring blinds of 3,000/5,000 with a big blind ante of 5,000. New entrants will start their journey with 150,000 in chips, good enough for 30 big blinds in the day's first level. A total of ten levels of 60 minutes each are scheduled for today, with a break every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break upon completion of Level 16.
