Team Darvish Overtakes Aces

Action picked up in a big-hand preflop showdown between Adam Zanoff of Team Darvish and a player to Zanoff’s immediate right.

Both players were all in, with Darvish covering his opponent.

“This happens to me every time,” Zanoff said in anguish when he saw his opponent’s pocket aces.

The dealer fanned 4QK on the flop, giving Zanoff a pair of kings and the nut flush draw.

“Don’t do me dirty,” the opponent said to the dealer.

“Club!” Zanoff replied.

The dealer placed J on the turn, leaving Zanoff one card to go.

The J showed up on the river, giving Zanoff the nut flush and winning hand to send his opponent to the rail.

“So dirty,” Zanoff’s opponent said as he packed his belongings while his teammate waited.
