Astedt's River Shove Gets Through
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Action picked up on the turn in a hand between Niklas Astedt in the big blind and the under-the-gun player.
With 24,000 in the pot and the board reading J♠3♥6♠7♣, Astedt led out with a bet of 9,000 and the under-the-gun player called.
The river brought the 10♥ and Astedt moved all in for 39,600. Faced with a tough decision, the under-the-gun player thought for a minute or so before tossing his cards into the muck.
