On a board of Q♦2♦A♣9♣ there were around 100,000 chips in the pot and both Shaun Deeb & Jorge Carvalho had checked to Jennifer Harman, who fired 75,000. After some time, Deeb called and Carvalho folded.
The 6♣ fell on the river and Deeb led with a shove, which put Harman to the test for her remaining 145,000. After thinking it over, Harman decided to fold.
"I was going to shove the river if you checked," said Harman to Deeb.
"I guess we had similar hands then," replied Deeb.
Andre Akkari raised to 35,000 from early position and left just a single chip worth 1,000 in his stack. Lander Lijo then shoved from the hijack and the rest of the table folded, then Akkari called off his remaining chip.
Andre Akkari: A♦7♦
Lander Lijo: K♥10♠
Lijo made a pair on the 10♥2♥3♠ flop and improved to a flush draw on the J♥ turn. Only an offsuit ace could save Akkari and that's what he found as the A♣ fell on the river.
Govert Metaal raised to 27,000 in early position and Eracles Panayiotou defended from the big blind.
The flop came 7♦5♠3♦ and Panayiotou checked. Metaal moved all in for 136,000, putting himself at risk, and Panayiotou counted out his chips before making the call.
Govert Metaal: 10♣10♠
Eracles Panayiotou: K♦7♥
Panayiotou pulled ahead on the K♥ turn and ended up with a boat when the K♠ peeled off on the river.
John Riordan shoved from under the gun for 110,000 and Dong Chen put him at risk from the hijack.
John Riordan: A♥J♥
Dong Chen: A♣10♣
Both players caught a piece of the 10♠3♠J♠ flop and the 5♠ turn brought around some chop opportunities. However, the 2♣ was a brick which meant Riordan doubled up.
A three-way all-in and call situation occurred on Table 655, with Jufranri Lim in the hijack at risk for 101,000 against Ky Nguyen in the cutoff and John Riordan who had them covered from the button.
Jufranri Lim: A♥5♠
Ky Nguyen: J♠J♥
John Riordan: Q♠10♠
Lim cheered as he hit trips on 2♥10♥5♥5♣6♠ to triple up.
