Adcock Outdraws Against Bruschi--Twice

Level 5
Joshua Adcock
Joshua Adcock

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Pot-Limit Triple Draw has been the culprit of the largest pots throughout the day so far.

Renan Bruschi opened to 1,500 from under the gun, Joshua Adcock called in the small blind, and the big blind came along as well.

Adcock and the big blind drew three while Bruschi took one. When checked to, Bruschi bet 3,000 and only Adcock called.

On the second draw, Adcock drew two and Bruschi took one again. Adcock check-called a bet of 7,500 from Bruschi.

Adcock took one on the end while Bruschi stood pat. Adcock did not take long before he led for pot of 13,700 effective as he was the covering stack, which immediately sent Bruschi into an uncomfortable spot.

"I started off taking three that's fuckin' hilarious," commented Adcock. Bruschi replied, "Either you have a monster or nothing," as he eventually put in the call for his tournament life.

Renan Bruschi: 10x8x6x4x2x All in
Joshua Adcock: 8x7x5x4x2x

Adcock's eight-seven was good to scoop the remains of Bruschi. Adcock elaborated on the hand, "I already had ten-seven [on the second draw]. I drew and I beat you again!"
