Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Euan Mcnicholas

THe board was showing 3253. Euan Mcnicholas had bet 110,000 from the button into a pot of around 200,000. His opponent, who was seated in the big blind, check-raised all in for around 410,000.

Mcnicholas had a similar amount left in his stack, and after thinking for around two minutes, he reluctantly folded his cards.

Markus Busts Makkar on the Bubble

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

On of the last two tables playing on the first hand-for-hand, Assad Markus opened to 40,000 from the middle position. Gaurav Makkar called in the hijack. Play folded to Adrien Amorella in the big blind, who thought for quite a long time before making the call.

The flop came 876. Amorella and Markus checked. Makkar made a big bet of 175,000, which was for about half of his stack. Amorella folded and Markus, after looking at Makkar’s stack, went all in. Makkar called.

Gaurav Makkar: J9All in
Assaf Markus: 88

Markus had a set, while Makkar flopped the open ended straight draw and the flush draw. The turn K and river 2 missed Makkar completely and he was off to the rail. Makkar was one of the six players that busted on that hand and chopped up the prizes for the first three in-the-money spots.

With that, play has returned back to normal.

Kaye Sends a Player to the Cashier's Desk

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With the bubble having been broken, the all-ins have been fast and furious.

David Kaye had called his opponents all in preflop for around 200,000, and after the rest of the table had folded, the cards were revealed.

Opponent: Q10 All in
David Kaye: AQ

The runout of 63537 meant Kaye's ace-high would hold up and he would move up to nearly a million chips.

Ferguson Loses to a Rivered Flush

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

A player in middle position had committed his last 265,000 with John Ferguson making the call to put him at risk.

Middle position: AK All in
John Ferguson: 88

The flop of 6105 was great for Ferguson's pocket eights. The 6 on the turn offered his opponent a few additional outs, and when the 9 came on the river, Ferguson's opponent had improved to a flush to win the pot

In a Frenzy of Bust-outs, Mintz Survives

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After it was announced that players are in the money, all-ins have been quick and plentiful, creating a long line to the cashout desk.

One of the short stacks avoiding a trip there for the time being was Jeremy Mintz, who managed to get a lucky double-up.

Action started with a raise from the hijack, which was called by players in the cutoff and on the button. Mintz was in the small blind and went all in for 355,000 chips. The original raiser reshoved and cutoff and button folded.

Jeremy Mintz: A9All in
Hijack: JJ

The flop came 422. The turn 3 gave Mintz a wheel-draw to go with his ace outs. The river 5 completed his wheel and he got the double-up.

Fahra Doubles

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Sammy Farha
Sammy Farha

Sam Farha only had 55,000 chips remaining after the bubble burst and in this hand after it folded to him on the button, he announced all in. Farha found some protection after the small blind shoved himself for around 500,000. The big blind folded and the cards were flipped over.

Sam Farha: K10 All in
Small blind: J8

The runout of 5643Q didn't improve either player, and Farha's king-high would earn him the much-needed double up.
