Dirk Bruns: A6 All in

Stefan Widmer

Stefan Widmer has made a fantastic comeback after doubling up in back-to-back hands.

First, Widmer was forced all in from the big blind and was given some protection after Seungjun Noh shoved from under the gun for 22,000,000.

Stefan Widmer: 62 All in
Seungjun Noh: AQ

Widmer ended the hand with a full house on the 6Q624 board and doubled up to 6,000,000.

In the next hand, Widmer shoved from the small blind for 6,000,000 and Noh called from the big blind.

Stefan Widmer: Q5 All in
Seungjun Noh: 95

The board ran out J32A6 and Widmer doubled up again.

Kyle Case: K6 All in
Alexandre Barbaranelli: JJ

Case ran into a monster and the 832 flop was no help. The 6 turn gave him some life as he picked up a flush draw but the A river was brick, sending him to the payout desk in 11th place.

Seungjun Noh Elimimated in 10th Place ($44,573)

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Seungjun Noh
Seungjun Noh

Kaihung Hu opened to 5,000,000 from early position and Seungjun Noh shoved from the small blind for around 7,000,000. Stefan Widmer then shoved for 17,000,000 in the small blind, and Hu made the call which put both players at risk.

Seungjun Noh: A3 All in
Stefan Widmer: QQ All in
Kaihung Hu: JJ

Widmer, who was down to less than two big blinds not so long ago, now was in the driving seat to rake a pot worth over 40,000,000 chips. Hu would eliminate two opponents if he could find a way to win the hand, and Noh needed to beat both players to ensure survival.

The runout of 85936 changed nothing which meant Noh was eliminated, and Widmer more than doubled up to bring himself back into contention.

Kaihung Hu opened 5,000,000 in early position and Kyle Williamson called a couple of spots to his left before Hunter Frey came along in the big blind.

All three players checked the 1083 flop to see the 5 turn. Frey checked once more and Hu fired 9,000,000 across the line. Williamson jammed 26,600,000 and Frey called off his 14,400,000. Hu thought about it for a quite some time but eventually mucked his hand.

Hunter Frey: KJ All in
Kyle Williamson: A10

Frey flopped the king-high flush but was unable to avoid another spade coming as the Q rolled off on the river. The rail exploded, and Frey was headed to the payout desk.

Kaihugn Hu raised from under the gun to 5,500,000 and Joshua Prager shoved for 15,500,000 from the hijack. Stefan Widmer was on the button and cold-called, which got Hu to fold.

Joshua Prager: A10 All in
Stefan Widmer: JJ

Prager took the lead on the A26 flop after he paired his ace, but had to fade the flush draw of Prager. The 10 turn gave Prager an unneeded two pair, and the K river was a brick which meant Prager more than doubled up.

Stefan Widmer moved all-in for 27,300,000 and Georgios Skarparis re-jammed from the small blind, forcing the big blind out of the pot.

Georgios Skarparis: AQ

The dreaded ace came on the A85 flop, giving Skarparis a pair of aces to take the lead and the A turn meant Widmer was drawing dead as the dealer dropped the 3 on the river.

Kaihung Hu
Kaihung Hu

Kaihung Hu opened to 5,500,000 from the cutoff and he was called by Georgios Skarparis on the button.

The dealer fanned a flop of 7KQ and Hu checked. Skarparis took this opportunity to bet 6,500,000, then after Hu called, he fired a second barrel of 12,000,000 on the 2 turn. Hu check-called once again.

Hu checked the 8 river and Skarparis decided to go all-in for approximately 71,200,000. Hu went deep into the tank for several minutes, until the clock was called. During the last seconds he had, Hu decided to call for his last 32,000,000.

Kaihung Hu: K9 All in
Georgios Skarparis: K10

Hu called with top pair, but Skarparis had the same pair but with a better kicker. Hu was eliminated in 7th place for $93,171, while Skarparis now holds almost half of the chips in play.
