Martirosian Busts First Bullet

Level 6 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The completed board of 3J39K was in front of Artur Martiriosian in the cutoff and Connor Drinan on the button. Martirosian checked to Drinan, who fired a pot-sized bet of 124,500.

Martirosian mulled it over for a while before making the call. Drinan turned over KKQ5 for kings full, and Martirosian's cards hit the muck in defeat.

During the hand, Norwegian high roller Tom-Aksel Bedell sat down with a fresh stack of 300,000 chips, while Martirosian would be eliminated a few hands later.

Maksimov Cannot Bluff Jouhkimainen

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Three ways to the 832J turn, Artem Maksimov bet 8,000 and was called two ways by Joni Jouhkimainen and Jason Mercier. On the 3 river, the action checked to Jouhkimainen and he bet 10,000. Mercier folded and Maksimov then used a time bank before raising it up to 35,000.

Jouhkimainen eventually called and was shown the J844, which he had beat with the AAQJ.

"No bluffing with this hat, you told me ..." Jouhkimainen smirked. Maksimov had given the Finn and other players a red "make America great again" hat that all three players involved in the hand are actually wearing.

Lonis Back Above Starting

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Arriving on a turn of 83J10, Jesse Lonis checked from the big blind to Isaac Kempton in the cutoff. Kempton fired a pot-sized 50,000 chips and Lonis called.

Both players then checked on the 7 river, after which Lonis tabled QJ95 for a flush. Kempton mucked his cards and the pot was awarded to Lonis.

"You didn't feel like putting me to the test?" Lonis asked Kempton.

"You didn't strike me as a man who likes folding," Kempton retorted.

Meanwhile, Tomer Daniel took his seat at this table on his second bullet.
