Renald Rivers the Nuts
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
There were around 50,000 chips in the pot on a board of 8♥J♣2♠A♣7♦ when Robert Renald shoved for just over 30,000 chips. The decision was on the player in seat nine who was taking so long that the table called the clock. The floor arrived and when the countdown got to one second remaining, Renald's opponent called.
Renald tabled 10♦9♥ for the nuts with a straight, with his opponent having flipped 8♠8♦ for a set.
