Zavorotnijs Gets Some Back

Vitalijs Zavorotnijs's stack was reduced to less than half starting stack as he was on the turn on a board that read 32106 and a pot that had 8,500 in it.

Zavorotnijs thought for a ling time before acting as he announced a bet of 7,500. His opponent swiftly folded and the Latvian collected the pot to increase his stack a bit.

The big blind continued for 2,400 on AJ10 and Olvera called.

Olvera led for the big blind's last 42,500 chips on the K turn. After some thought, he let his cards go. Olvera showed the Q before dragging in the pot.

Young Fires Three Barrels

Action folded around to the blinds, where Justin Young called from the small blind and the player in the big blind checked their option.

Young's opponent called a 500 bet from Young on the 4K5 flop and a 1,200 bet from Young on the 7 turn.

The 9 completed the board and Young announced a bet of 4,000. His opponent quickly laid her hand down and Young was sent the pot.

Campero's Turn Bet Takes It

Action was caught on the flop of 7J8, in a hand between the player in the big blind, Barry Shulman in the hijack and Andres Campero on the button.

With about 3,000 in the middle, the big blind checked, Shulman checked, and the button bet 1,000. The big blind called, Shulman announced, "raise," and made it 5,000, the button called and the big blind got out of the way.

The turn brought the J and Shulman check-folded to Campero's bet of 10,000.

On the turn, the board read 8KA10. Dimitrios Mylonas bet 7,000 from the cutoff. Yosef Kamil jammed all in for 37,000 to put the decision on Mylonas who went into the tank.

After a while, Mylonas folded and Kamil took down the pot.

Hook Makes a Big Lay Down

The under-the-gun player raised, a player in early position three-bet and Charles Hook, on the button, cold four-bet to 16,000.

The original raiser folded and the player in early position five-bet jammed for 47,000, sending Hook into the tank.

Hook thought for several minutes, thinking aloud as he did so.

"Would you show for three hundred bucks?" asked Hook. His opponent said no words, simply shook their head in denial and Hook sent his cards to the muck.
