Everts Takes it Away on River

Barry Clark opened the action with a raise to 1,200 from early position. Michael Everts called in the cutoff and the big blind defended.

Clark continued for 1,200 on J93 and only Everts called.

The turn J rolled off and Clark fired 3,000. Everts called once more.

Clark checked the K river over to Everts who bet 6,300. Clark mucked and the pot was pushed towards Everts.

Talbot Befuddles Martini

The board read K4797 on the river with a pot of about 6,500 in it.

From the big blind Parker Talbot made an overbet of 8,800 which made Julien Martini think it out. he gave a wry smile and tried to talk to Talbot to get any info but to no avail as he eventually folded and was left with a shorter stack.

Morgan Bests Choffardet at Showdown

Timothy Morgan raised from early position, receiving a call from both the blinds.

The action checked to Morgan, who bet out 1,200 on the A6Q. Mathieu Choffardet, in the small blind, check-raised to 3,600. The big blind folded and Morgan called.

The A turn and 10 river checked to a showdown. Choffardet tabled 86 for bottom pair, while Morgan claimed this pot with 88.

Dempsey Chipping Up

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action was caught on the flop of 8A3, in a hand between Andres Campero in the small blind and James Dempsey in middle position.

With a little over 11,000 in the pot, both players checked bringing the J turn. Campero check-called a bet of 6,500, and the river brought the 10.

Campero checked again and Dempsey put out a bet of 10,000. Campero thought for a moment before folding.

Affleck Goes Runner-Runner on Chamas

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A player in middle position bet 1,800 on a flop of 45Q and Rayan Chamas called in the cutoff. Matt Affleck then raised to 6,500 in the big blind and only Chamas called.

The turn was the 6 and Affleck bet 10,000. Chamas again called to see the 6 river.

Affleck paused for several minutes until he checked. Chamas quickly checked behind and Affleck showed 76 for running trips to win the pot.

De Mario Takes from Galfond

Massimo De Mario opened to 1,300 from early position and Phil Galfond defended from the big blind.

The flop came J62 and Galfond check-called a 1,000 continuation bet from De Mario.

De Mario bet again for 3,200 when checked to on the Q turn and this time it was enough to force a fold from Galfond.

Kaverman Gets a River Raise Through

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The pot stood at approximately 4,500 with two players looking at a flop of 73546.

Markus Gonsalves, in the big blind, bet out a sizeable wager of 6,000. Byron Kaverman, on the button, responded with a raise to 15,000.

Gonsalves tanked for some time before tossing his cards into the muck.

Feiger Not Letting Up

Joshua Feiger opened the action with a raise to 1,500 from early position. The hijack three-bet to 4,500 and Feiger called.

The hijack continued for 4,000 on a rainbow KQ9 flop before Feiger bumped it up to 11,000. The hijack frustratingly let his hand go as Feiger added to his mountain of chips.

Small Flush Gets it Done For Chufarin

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The board read Q10J75 on the river. From the button, Denys Chufarin bet 20,000 into a pot of 22,000 to put the decision on Junpei Shimada in the hijack.

Shimada studied the board for quite some time before he elected to call.

Chufarin tabled the 65 for the baby flush which was good as Shimada showed his beaten AKx broadway straight that was one card away from the royal flush.

Garza Scoops a Pot

Under the gun opened the action with a raise to 1,200. A player in early position three-bet to 4,500 and Lou Garza cold called the raise from the button.

Early position continued for 7,000 on 9K3 and Garza made the call.

Early position checked the Q turn over to Garza who fired 13,000. Early position called.

The river 2 rolled off and Garza wagered 26,000 but after a short tank, his opponent folded.
